RIGHT BACK FROM THE YCADEMY JUNE SEMINAR 2008  BAMB! BAMB! KAPOW! KAPOW! That is how it was all day today while attending the condensed version of this monthly June Seminar.  Because the Internet connectivity was impossible for Yorgo the normal Saturday day 1 of the seminar had to be canceled.  What we all got instead was the "SUPER-DUPER SUNDAY VERSION" .  When the clock struck the top of the hour, that was 5 AM for me, Yorgo and Bianca knowing that 2 days of training had to be completed in under 7 hours, began providing information about the new Ycademy Pro Website that we being Gold Members were receiving.   Even at this great-neck speed we attendees somehow made it through and our new sites were up and running.  I know I had to type into the chat:  Yorgo, slow down slow down, you are too fast for most of us.  Others did this as well, but one thing for sure that at the end of the 7th hour there were plenty of very happy Ycademy Gold Member.  I together with the other members just wanted to express our thankfulness to you Yorgo and Bianca for the patience and understanding in dealing with us who are not as gifted with the talents you both have.    So allow me to say thank you.    Thanks for Ycademy and Yorgoo, and a special thank you to Zo who does so much working in the background that without her support these special seminars would not be possible.  I encourage each and everyone of you fellow members of Yorgoo to do your very best to make sure you do not miss any of these seminars.  These seminars, even though they cost very little are priceless compared to what some instructors charge.  You always come away exhausted and fulfilled with all the tools, tips, knowledge, and sometimes special free gifts. Snapper mostly spawn over sand, mud or gravel sea beds in protected or partially protected bays, harbours, gulfs and lower estuaries.

Peak breeding activity in southern waters typically occurs from spring until early autumn and these fish are “serial spawners”; releasing eggs and milt many times during the spawning season.

Juveniles tend to remain in estuaries and bays for the first few years of their life before moving offshore.

Adult fish may migrate considerable distances up and down the coast during their lives.

Snapper grow slowly and can live a very long time (at least 20 to 30 years)

The largest fish tend to be males.
