Fish Must Be Left to Reproduce

The NSW Murray cod season has officially closed on the 1st of September and will re-open on the 30th of November.

The NSW Murray crayfish season has also closed on the 1st of September and will not re-open until the 1st of May, 2009.

 Closed season for Victorian waters occur from the 1st of September to the 30th of November, while in South Australian waters it begins from the 1st of August to the 31st of December. (Modern Fishing Nov. 2008)
